Student Government Day

The  annual Student Government Day is sgd%20logosponsored by the Murray Lions Club and Murray State University with the cooperation of city and county government officials concludes each year by a panel discussion by MSU students who try to incorporate the lessons of the experience with the high school students from Murray High School and Calloway County High School.  In March 2016 over 30 high school students participated in the event which gives insight into how local government works to benefit the community.  Pictured below from this years event is Jack Rose, mayor, and Paul McCreary, Lions vice president are shown talking with one of this year’s panelists, Clint Combs.  Kelsey Bogard, Dexter Alexander, and Rachel Ross, all MSU students participated in the panel discussion.
