Tom Grants, co-chair of the Legends Campaign for the Calloway Circuit Clerk’s office, spoke to the Lions Club about the importance of being a registered organ donor, pointing out that over 20 people die every day while awaiting a transplant. Phyllis Wrye joined in the presentation by sharing her personal experiences during her husband’s being on the transplant list and ultimately getting a heart transplant.
